The response to the newsletters is great!
I've had 4 or 5 clients that haven't been in for a while
come in specifically because of your newsletters. Thanks
for offering these to massage therapists who either don't
have the time or the skills that you have in publishing
and communication. I really appreciate the work that you
do.
Two of my clients operate an advertising
agency here. Both have complimented me on our "Staying
in Touch" newsletter. They say it is one of the BEST
they have ever seen in terms of format, style, length, design,
content, interest, clarity, etc. They are impressed! As
both massage clients and owners of their own advertising
agency, they should know what they are talking about. KUDOS!

I have been planning on using your newsletter for a couple
of years now and had been waiting for the "ideal time"

certificate sales this year went through the roof! Clients
I have not seen for a while rebooked and even in the grocery

This is my 11th year as a massage therapist
and I have to admit no other form of advertising - and I
have spent a lot of money - has been nearly as effective
as these newsletters. I commend your dedication and efforts
at producing such a ... quality product. Keep up the good

I was excited to sell a Valentine's gift
certificate to a one-time visit client who responded to
my newsletter ad. The newsletter ad has worked better than
promotional holiday post cards. I have found that I have
sold twice as many Valentine's gift certificates with your
newsletter as compared to sales with promotional post cards.
Also, in addition to the client that I sold the Valentine's
gift certificate (her husband who she purchased it for)
is now an enthusiastic regular client!

I sent about 230 newsletters out on Saturday
and by Wednesday I already had 3 appointments! This is perfect
for my business - I'm too busy to write one myself. I love
your newsletter! It sends just the message I want to get
to my clients.
I've only mailed out 20 newsletters so far, and I got 4
clients back that I haven't seen in a year!
Shortly after I sent over 150 copies to
my clients and associates, I received a thank you note from
one client who thanked me for including her in my mailing
and complimented me on the content and layout of Staying
in Touch. I did receive lots of positive verbal feedback,
but it was this one handwritten note that made me sign up
for a year's worth (of newsletters). Your newsletter is
everything I have wanted to put together but never had the

Although I was well educated, licensed
in massage (NY State), was providing consistent and excellent
service for over twelve years, I had come to a point of
certain stagnation in my private practice. I knew I had
to make an investment in marketing my services, but not
necessarily in the form of traditional (print) advertising,
which rarely brought in enough new business to warrant its
often- overrated expense. I also needed a way to motivate
my already established clients to continue making appointments
- to get them to understand and experience the value of
regular massages. That's where Jon and his "Staying
in Touch" newsletters came along.
In Spring 2001, I learned of Jon's unique
services through a professional trade journal. I called
Jon and he agreed to send me a sample kit. I immediately
liked the layout, content, careful research and professional
writing skills. I also liked the idea that I could offer
so much invaluable information to my clients without having
to do all the research and writing myself. So, I signed
up for one year's subscription. And, boy...am I ever glad
I did! All of my clients love these newsletters and look
forward to receiving them. How do I know? Because they tell
me so! They tell me how much they appreciate receiving them.
Not only that, they tell me that it helps them to remember
(without my being aggressive or pushy) to schedule an appointment
with me for a massage. Every time I do a mailing, I am guaranteed
numerous calls for appointments, literally within days of
sending it out, and the word spreads.
Apart from the excellent client newsletters,
I also received Jon's "Behind the scenes" newsletter,
an incredibly insightful forum, which focuses on helping
the massage therapist to succeed. Before subscribing to
these newsletters, I was fortunate to provide only 6-8 massages
a week. Now, I am so busy that my workload has increased
nearly twofold, and I often must schedule my clients weeks
in advance!
Now, in my third year, I am looking at
making a commitment to my massage practice on a higher level;
by taking advantage of Jon's offer to have a professional
web site from Massage on the Web.
